Tungsten psycho

Materials needed:
Hook:  TMC 2487 sizes #16-22 (I am using a Dai Riki 135 with a slightly offset bend).
Weight:  2mm tungsten bead, copper.
Thread:  Olive Danville 6/0.
Tail:  Mallard flank dyed olive.
Rib:  Olive wire, small.
Wingcase:  Olive thin skin.
Thorax:  Olive superfine dubbing.
Legs:  Tan or Olive midge flash.

Put your bead on your hook, start your thread.

Tie in your tail, and wrap your thread forward.

Tie in your olive wire rib.

Wrap the rib forward....

...and tie it off.

Tie in your wingcase.

Dub some super fine olive dubbing onto your thread.

Build your thorax with the dubbed thread.

Tie in your legs.

They can be tied in long.  You will cut them to length later.

Take the tag end of your midge flash and fold it over to the other side, and tie it down....

Dub a little more dubbing onto your thread, and wrap over your thread wraps used to hold your legs down.

Stretch your thin skin wingcase over the thorax and tie it down.

Trim the tag end of your wingcase.

Trim your legs to length.

Apply head cement directly to your thread, and whip finish.
